11-12-2024 News Snippet ( BBC News ) The founder of a flood action group has accused her council of removing support, saying residents are now "basically on our own". Lis Dales, from Castle Street Community Flood Action Group in Kendal, Cumbria, said the change could put lives at risk and was "bordering on the negligent". Other community groups in the county have raised concerns, saying that more could be done to protect people.

1 3-01-2026 Update UU and EA Several meetings of KFAG and UU and EA regarding Thirlmere and the ‘KFAG’ release of water is being contested with various reasons being given. Mark and Al have done some very solid work on refuting flow rates on UU data. It is complicated by Licencing requirments.
